Kate Sylvester Eyewear - Royally Screwed Summer 08

After amazing success with her debut eyewear collection, Kate Sylvester is launching her second range, an aristocratically themed collection entitled Royally Screwed.

Following the theme of her Summer 08 collections, Royally Screwed is inspired by eccentric royals, the military and aristocratic anarchy. This is a range of sunglasses for both regal misfits and lovers of sophistication, quality, mad eccentricity, and continues the Kate Sylvester aesthetic of mixing quirk and uniqueness with beauty and sophistication.

Suitably monarchic, the colour palette is a mix of military neutrals (biscuit, amber, nude, silver and olive) highlighted by royal blue, jewel red, deep purple all of which are perfectly unisex. This is a range that works incredibly well on both men and women with eccentric elements such as metal frames, mirror lenses and bright fabrications.

Star styles include the Iris Apfel inspired round shape in tri-toned purple, the metal ‘military' shape - a fantastic unisex style and Kate has continued to evolve the iconic Wayfarers shape with a new steely double bridge and a half frame version in brushed amber.

Kate Sylvester's Royally Screwed eyewear is at the same time punk, modern and timeless. The collection debuted at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week to much acclaim and its arrival in-store in September is eagerly anticipated.
