Kate Sylvester has always had a penchant for eyewear. Sophisticated, quirky, feminine and classic. Reading glasses are the smart woman's accessory of seduction. And staying true to her signature of timeless eclecticism, Kate Sylvester's first range of opticals follow the success of her debut sunglasses collection, providing her customers with the complete eyewear package.
The new collection due out early July is inspired by literary greats, with styles named after Kate's most loved writer's and characters. There's the delicate ‘Phoebe' and ‘Caulfield' with their petite metal frames, the sensible but sexy ‘Salinger', and ‘Ellis' (named after 90's iconic author Brett Easton Ellis) which in grey is the epitome of cool.
Inspired by her Wayfarer influenced shapes from summer, Kate created ‘Harper', ‘Lee', ‘Articus' and ‘Radley' to be the perfect unisex pair to share with your boyfriend. Other styles include subtle styles that really flatter and more eccentric shapes like ‘Rose', with triple layered/tri-colour frames. The very anticipated range is already a favourite with local fashion editors and will be stocked in Eyewear stores around the country.
