Royal medals and the colours of the ribbon wear used to style the looks for kate's RAFW show.  The traditional looking ribbon also adorned cute cotton tees and dresses.  Kate has the utmost respect for the men that wear these medals in the military sense, and her use of them was intended as homage, rather than any kind of disrespect
