AK79 was a huge inspiration for Kate's Royally Screwed S08 collection.  A complilation of Auckland's punk scene in the late 70's, AK79  encapsulates anarchic attitude at the core of this, especially its energy and rebellion.

The Damned's track 'New Rose' was part of Kate's S08 runway show at RAFW this year.  Its punk, loud, happy and very English!

The Ramones 'Hey Ho, let's Go!' song really made Kate's RAFW Royally Screwed show pop with classic punk spirit.

Kate has loved the Jam since she was a teen in teh 80's.  Their albums 'In the City' and 'This is the Modern World' really resonate with the Englishness of her S08 collection.
